Author and Bigfoot & UFO researcher Stan Gordon gave a presentation at the Johnstown Masonic Temple on Sunday.

Gordon has been investigating reports of Bigfoot and UFO sightings in Pennsylvania for over 63 years and says that there have been hundreds if not thousands of witnesses in Cambria and other surrounding counties.

He spent the afternoon sharing his research and theories on why so many sightings take place right here in our area.

Even though he says that he’s never witnessed a sighting personally, the numbers of people keep growing.

“We’ve had incidents in southwest PA in the last 5-6 years where people were 5-10-20 feet away from these creatures," said Gordon. "So, these were not mistakes as bears for example, and yes some were misidentifications like with UFO’s but there are cases going on every year, including this year, we’ve had very up close big foot sightings up on the Chestnut Ridge, in Westmoreland county for example, not that far away.”
