According to multiple reports, now former University of Pittsburgh quarterback Kedon Slovis entered the NCAA transfer portal Monday and will not be returning to the Panthers next season.

Slovis spent three seasons with USC prior to transferring to Pitt this past February.

He threw for nearly 2,400 yards, 10 touchdowns and nine interceptions this season as the Panthers finished with a record of 8-4 and a trip to the Sun Bowl.

Hours after Slovis entered the transfer portal, former Boston College QB Phil Jurkovec announced his commitment to play for the Panthers in his final season of eligibility.

Jurkovec has spent the past three seasons with Boston College after transferring from Notre Dame.

"I'm thankful to Coach Narduzzi and Coach Cignetti and the University of Pittsburgh for allowing me the opportunity to come home and compete," Jurkovec told ESPN on Monday.
