BIOGRAPHY
Marco Antonio de la O is a Mexican actor, born on July 12, 1978. The youngest of four brothers, he was attracted to acting from a young age, leading him to develop his passion in acting academies in Mexico and Cuba. Barely at the age of 18, Marco began working in the theater, specifically in musical productions such as José el Soñador, Los empeños de una casa and Cats.

After these experiences, the actor moved to New York to train at the American Music Dramatic Academy. Returning to Mexico, Marco began to participate in soap operas such as Amor sin conditions (2006), Bellezas indomables (2007), La loba (2010), Tanto amor (2015), among others.

Established in the theater, where the actor has participated in just over 50 works, Marco obtained his great role on television, personifying the Mexican criminal, Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán, in the series El Chapo (2017), in which he has appeared in 21 episodes.
