Granblue Fantasy: Relink is an action RPG set in the Granblue Fantasy universe. You take on the role of a skyship’s captain, exploring the vast skies of the Sky Realm. And, naturally, you are aided in this task with a group of other characters. As there are many of these, you are no doubt wondering which ones are the best and most powerful. While you can recruit many characters in Granblue Fantasy Relink – most of which you can get via the Crewmate Cards system – there are some that you will want to get as soon as possible. Their unique abilities – which include attack, defense, and utility, will make the early game a lot smoother with them around. Of course, it isn’t required that you get them, but we do recommend using the following characters, especially in the early game:

- A Tier: Vane – a great Tank, because of his Taunt ability / Zeta – excellent DPS and parry / Ghandagozza – high DPS and Stun chance.
- B Tier: Io – with access to multiple elements, she can cover most elemental weaknesses / Rosetta – her staggering ability can leave enemies wide open to attacks.
Of course, as the game is brand-new, we didn’t have as much time as we would have liked to play around with all the characters in the game.
