Amanda Schull, born on August 26th, 1978 in Honolulu, Hawaii, is the daughter of Susan Schull, president of Ballet Hawaii. She was raised alongside her two siblings. She sought guidance from John Landovsky at Hawaii State Ballet. Amanda attended Punahou School to obtain her early education.

At the tender age of seventeen, she received her diploma from Punahou School and was presented with an opportunity to attend Indiana University with a scholarship to study ballet. Whilst there, she became part of the Delta Delta Delta sorority.

After completing her studies at the San Francisco Ballet School Summer Intensive in 1999, she was awarded a scholarship to continue her training for another year. Subsequently, she became an apprentice and eventually was admitted as a full-time corps de ballet member at San Francisco Ballet.

In 2000, while she was an apprentice at the San Francisco Ballet, Amanda Schull portrayed the character of Jody Sawyer in the movie Center Stage. Years later, she landed a role on the popular YTV sitcom My Family and Me, playing Davina Mayhan.

In 2008, Amanda relocated to Australia to film Last Dancer, a movie in which she depicted the significant role of Elizabeth Mackey. This picture was given its North American premiere in 2010.
